Positive: We stayed at Barisetti Sport Hotel in October and had a wonderful experience. The whole place has a charming Alpine atmosphere that makes you feel cozy and relaxed from the moment you arrive. Our suite with a balcony was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the town center, yet peaceful and quiet. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was delicious and freshly prepared. Although the selection wasn’t very large, it was more than enough for us, and everything we tried was excellent. We also had dinner there once, and it was just as good — tasty, beautifully presented, reasonably priced, and served in a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. Overall, we had a great week at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Negative: The only thing is we wish there was a kettle in the room to make some coffee/tea but everything else was excellent

Positive: The staff were extremely nice and helpful. I got the best hiking recommendations in the area! The hotel restaurant is by far the best in town this season — it’s a chef’s restaurant with a different, amazing menu every day. The room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of the mountains. The hotel is very central, and you can easily walk to the city center.
Negative: Don't have much to say, but I would expect to have a free parking while staying in the hotel.

But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Alice at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Alice went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her local recommendations for restaurants, activities, and hidden gems were spot on and made a huge difference in our trip. She was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about making our stay the best it could be. Our group has traveled to over 50 countries and stayed in countless hotels, and we all agreed that Alice is hands-down the best hotel staff member we’ve ever encountered. Negative: There was quite a bit of noise coming from either upstairs or the adjoining room. It sounded like a sliding door or something and was quite disruptive to sleep. Other than that the location was very quiet with a nice outlook.

Positive: Location was excellent, within easy walking distance to town, and bus and funicular within 1 min walk from building. Nice views from big balcony. Large room and huge bathroom with great shower
Negative: The bed was very firm (too hard for me but others might like it). No kettle.
